It's about how we prepare for Easter. Time for us to sign up to do His work. We want to go where the people are. Our job is to share what God has done for us. Easter in the Park is about getting out of here and go to where the people are.
Why is Easter so well attended, with such little results? He called us to reach the unchurched. John 1:14 The word of God dwelt among us. God sent Himself. Heaven didn't through an open house; heaven came to us. Matt 9:16-17: New wine into fresh wine skins, so both are preserved, the old and new.
Why should I serve? Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God. I'm willing to give up my tradition to see Your name glorified; lets see hands go up. Then call on Him in your trouble and He will rescue you. What we can do: 1) we can pray. 2) we can serve. 3) we can ?
