Finding God's Will for Your Life
"So Moses thought, 'I will go over and see this strange sight; why the bush does not burn up'" Ex. 3:3 - God speaks to those who pay attention. God gives a promise: "I will give you Israel". Promise precedes direction. I ask for direction and He gives me promise. Renewed mind is one that has submitted to the will of God. Looking for God's creative word, His Promise.
Solitude - The Furnace of Transformation Matt. 4:1-11; Placed into the furnace so God may refine me. Unmasking the allusions in my life. Allowing the Lord to change the way I think about myself. Come to the place where we realize that we are nothing. I silence you are left with nothing more than our selves.
Silence - The birthplace of God's voice. 2 King. 19:11-13; Gen. 1 Eternal silence of the Trinity. Words are everywhere as a distraction. God's Word is found in shear silence.
The Prayer of the Heart. Luke 18:13; 1 Thess. 5:17; Pray without ceasing, by way of a simple prayer: "Lord have mercy on me a sinner." It makes it to the heart when you start living when it is true. Hos 2:16 View that relationship with God as a taskmaster. Joel 2:23-29
