Renewal & Revival
"Will you not revive us again. That your people may rejoice in you." Psalm 85:5.
1) Busyness is not God's best for us (Matt 11:28) How much time do we set aside to pray to God?
2) Busyness chokes God's blessings (Mark 4:7) Busyness that causes stress in your life. Satan has twelve ways to gain power over Christians. Busy is Being Under Satan's Yoke. Matt 11:28 Come to me all who labor, and I will give you rest.
3) Busyness confuses the source of our power (John 15:9) Mark 7:4 Choked by life's worries.
4) Busyness robs us of His presence (Jeremiah 29:13) John 5:19 Busyness tricks me into thinking that my own activities are the source of our life. We are the ones who make the world turn.
5) Busyness goes against the example Jesus set. (Mark 1:35, 6:46; Matt 14:23; Luke 5:15-16, 6:12) Jer. 29:13. Have to fill free time with something.
Remember to take time to pray every day.
