Continuing with the Faith Path series, through which we are turning the lights on in our homes.
Designed for the extended family. In the book of Ester we are introduce to Mordechai. Extended family members can present a sensitive situation. We may not be in the nucleus, but we can effect the outcome. Ruth 3, Mordechai was rising to the second in authority to the King, as a Jew, part of the captive nation. Prove 18:16 A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.
We contain the Word of God in our hearts, able to give away God's wisdom to our extended family. Chapter 7, Mordechai takes in Ester and raising her as his own. Chap 10:3 Grate among the Jews, A Jew living with Jews, and remained a Jew. But hew was a servant to his people and didn't lord it over them. Ester was everything that he asked her to be.
Mordechai's humble example, saved a nation. He was selfless, centering his life on his people, not himself. When provoked, he was a living example of Prove 15:1 "A genital answered turns away wrath." A true example of Godly leadership. Every Christian is a member of our extended family and should be treated as such and respected.
