We have lost our first love; He is better than Assume Town. Churches are to Love, Mend, Train, Send, all related to prayer. When the Apostles prayed, the earth shook. Prayer is everywere.in Acts: the church was birthed in prayer; first 14 chapters are filled with prayer. Act highlights how important prayer which shows how dependent we are on Him. If God answered all of your prayers, would the world be changed or just your world? Why isn't my world shaking?
Have you ever wondered why people don't grow, or why I don't grow? Reasons why we don't grow:
1) We don't grow because we are Americans and we can do it on our own. But the only eternal reality is the God Head, everything else will pass away.
2) We tend to be a community of one, trying to grow on our own. We need to foster a Trinitarian Community: 1) You 2) Means of Grace 3) Local Church. We receive from but should also be giving to Church.
