How who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Whom I trust." Psalm 91:1-2
God's YES
Promise of the Lord's care and Protection from life's troubles:
You will experience the fowler. Arrows from no where, when your in your tent or on the road. Happens day or night. In Ps 91, there are 8 troubles and 16 promises. God provides two promises for every trouble.
Promise of the Lord's care and protection from the demonic:
Ancient rabies viewed this Psalm as protection against demonic forces. There are spiritual forces aligned against us bent on our destruction. Psalms really if ever talk about angels. Anytime, any day. Ps 91 is old testament version of Romans 8. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Our AMEN
My God in whom I trust:
I am confident that God will protect. Lord, help my confidence to grow.
