Finding God's Will For Your Life
"All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness." (Psalm 25:10)
Finding God's will in our lives is not the answer to the question, it is secondary, "it is a benefit of". The overriding idea regarding finding God's will for our lives is the Transformation process we encounter. He wants us to be like Jesus so that we can experience His love in our lifetime. We can't fail. The only thing that can stop us is our hard heart. This is not the race I trained for, but this is the race I'm in, but God has set paths to get us to the finish line.
Psalm 1: Simplistic view of life. If we give Jesus, we will be like the tree planted by streams of water. Do what we are suppose to and things will work out well. A decision.
Psalm 25: Realistic view: Remember the sinner, oh Lord, not the sin. The right path is not easy to walk. Why do good things happen to bad people? Living it out.
A Hebrew Acrostic (Psalm 25), uses all 22 letters in the Hebrews alphabet. Psalm about God's direction, there is an ordered pattern in His will. There is still a part of God's will that is unknown. 5% still needs to be discerned. Cry out to God "Show me the way". All His ways are steadfast love and faithfulness. We Win His Love.
All God's paths lead to… Him. If we confess our sins He will forgive us and we receive His love. He will provide the way and the path. At the end of the Marathon is His stead fast love.
