Worship with the head and heart. Need to be a Maturing Disciple; start by practice worshiping? Yes it takes practice. Dancing was intended to be foolish before God, to feel vulnerable, but safe. If you force yourself to smile, sooner or latter your heart will get happy.
The heart is the gateway to worship (Romans 10:9; Luke 10:27; Deuteronomy 6:5-7) "Confess with your mouth and believe with your Heart..." Salvation is an act of will that says, I will follow you. You shall love the Lord with all your heart, soul, body and then mind. The mind provides more reasons to worship.
Heart Issues: The heart is fragmented in need of repair.
Pride (James 4:6) I'll do what I want to do and no one, not even Jesus, will tell me differently. The heart believes it knows best.
Fear (1 John 4:18) Afraid of worldly events that may impact us.
Unrepentant (Revelation 2:5) Lack of humility, I'm better than that.
Forgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15} Holding something against someone. How do you expect God to for give you, if you hold a grudge against others?
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all of your heart. He promise to restore to us all the good things he had in store to us. Change my Heart oh God!
