He is currently a resident director at the Flea Theater located in NYC, and he is currently a Lecturer of Acting at SUNY Purchase, teaching Clown and Commedia there as well as at all sorts of places between Stateside and Asia!
Eugene and I are actually high-school friends! We reunite after 9 years of life and catch up in this interesting conversation!
We talk about all things acting! Eugene shares his take on the distinction between theatrical and screen acting, the value of clown and physicality, and how to deal with burnout. We also dive into the audition process mindsets and much more!!
