Following up on my idea to introduce BASSDRIVE listeners to the sound of Budapest and my local fellow DJs, this podcast features a female DJ who has been a prominent figure in the local underground scene.
Renáta (or 'Ren' for short) has been in the scene since the inception days of Budapest's drum and bass culture and has been shaping it progressively for years. If you have been around and had the opportunity to join a #dnb gig, chances are that you've come across her DJ sets. She's part of Budapest Jungle, has her own radio show on Tilos Radio and is a member of the local female DJ group, She Fire.
