Loma Linda, California has been named the Blue Zone of America due to its large population of Seventh-Day Adventist church members who live healthy lifestyles that contribute to their health and longevity which has been documented in the medical literature. Dr. Wareham continued actively assisting in surgery to the age of 95 when he retired.
