Am I valuable? Do I matter? Genesis chapters 1 and 2 tell us that we were lovingly made in the image of God, and that he saw his creation and said it was good. Sin entered the world and corrupted that good, but we must hold on to hope because there is cleansing and redemption in the blood of Jesus.
