God is the only truly eternal being, the one who was before all things and created all things.

God has imparted or “programmed” eternity into our souls, but our understanding of eternity in this life is limited.

ETERNAL DEATH AND ETERNAL LIFE
The Outer Darkness, or “Hell” is the eternal reality and natural consequence of sin.
Those who reject Christ and his promises and blessings to focus on the things of this life will be removed from God’s presence in eternity.
Sin is pleasurable in the moment, but with devastating eternal consequences.
Colossians 2:13-14
Eternal Life, or “Heaven” is the eternal reality of God’s love, grace, and goodness to us. The eternal reward for all who follow Christ.
“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” -John 17:3
Eternal Life is the full, intimate knowledge of God.
IS MY HEART & MIND SET ON ETERNITY?
Eternal Life is not just the limited knowledge of God in this life, but also a glorious future for those who choose him.
Heaven is the place we belong. Our home.
“If our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.” -1 Corinthians 15:19
