Love-struck - Infatuation; head over heels; to be affectionately smitten with one, i.e. - to 'have it bad.' An intense love unrestrained by one's weaknesses, faults, failures, issues or insecurities.
Prior to writing this song (Psalm 139), David was well acquainted with the 'drama' in his life. He committed moral transgressions & acts emanating from a sinful heart yet, David was quick to repent while being keenly aware of GOD'S constant thoughts and concern for him.
Tune in for this week's 'Words of Life' application challenge as we encourage ourselves, confidently knowing:
*GOD thinks of us 'individually' (not generally) even w/ our failures, issues, etc.
*GOD'S thoughts of us cannot be numbered...
*Calvary's Cross proves that only GOD loves us in ways others can't...
We challenge our faithful listeners & viewers to begin emulating & applying the same confidence David penned within his musical composition, by boldly claiming these 'loving, personal & constant' thoughts GOD has about us, through JESUS, as well.
