Plugged in - to be connected or attached to; constantly engaged or aware of.

 

No matter their beauty or efficiency, cars require gas to travel. Birds need wings to fly. Fish must have water to live. As children of GOD, we must be aware of our spiritual 'needs' (as well) in this foreign land we now occupy.

 

We must prioritize being alone with GOD for the spiritual benefits of: life, strength, direction, wisdom and ascertaining GOD'S perfect will for our lives. Satan will make this difficult to implement by diverting, distracting or even attempting to block us from achieving solitary and intimate time with GOD… daily.

 

How? Being consumed with the cares and desires of this world. Our motives. Our families. Drama. Temptation. At no point, should these diabolically placed distractions divert us from 'alone time' with GOD. We need this as we need air to breathe... it is that important.
