King David made a number of grievous errors (sins) with his adulterous affair with Uriah's wife, Bathsheba. As conviction weighed upon David heavily, he not only confessed his sinfulness but relied upon GOD'S unfailing love and great compassion to completely 'blot out' his transgressions.

 

No matter the sin, we find ourselves in the same hopeless predicament without acknowledging our sinfulness and looking to GOD to wipe away our sins as well.
