Later - specifies an expectation or expectation of meeting another @ a designated, future time.

 

'Angels' appear unto the friends of JESUS as they approach the tomb site looking for HIS body. They also remind the troubled souls of what JESUS previously taught them: HE would be killed, rise again and would depart to prepare a place for them @ a later date.

 

Often, especially @ death, we may also require the same reminder as we mourn the loss of a loved one, spouse, friend, etc.: why seek ye the dead among the living?
