*Urges Collaborative Action for Basic Facilities and Environmental Protection in Baram*
Madani Politics in the Unity government. Roland explained that he is ready to cooperate with Baram Member of Parliament Yb Anyie Ngau (GPS) to ensure that basic facilities can be built immediately for the convenience of Baram residents.
Among the problems that have not yet been resolved are the lack of identity documents, roads, telecommunication/internet facilities, education, health, clean water supply and 24-hour electricity supply to Panjang villages/homes in Baram.
In line with the principles of Civil Malaysia and the formation of a unity government at the Federal Level. So the state government should support all the efforts brought by the federal leaders to bring basic facilities to the people of Baram as soon as possible - even if there is no formation of a unity government at the state level.
PKR will continue to rebuke the GPS Sarawak government's policies related to logging and the environment if they are contrary to the requirements of local and international laws. But will be conveyed in the politics of diplomacy, instead of provocation. This is to ensure that the administration of the unity government is not affected. Roland insisted that the GPS Sarawak government's logging policy has caused environmental/climate change problems and affected the local population. Therefore, logging should be reduced and eventually stopped/Zero logging.
