It took Muni (whose people were here long before the likes of Taib) 30 years to be granted her ID card, depriving her of education, health and (of course) the right to vote about the destruction and plunder of her lands - she is one of many. Likewise, reforming activists from PKR continue to be banned from visiting longhouses by headmen paid by the ruling GPS: we follow the story of one group struggling to reach the people as Sarawak's own elections begin to loom.
