Dennis Along, PKR Baram Communications Director
*The Governor (TYT) should be healthy and emulate the King. Taib Mahmud had to withdraw due to health problems*
Visit of the King and Queen in the Borneo Tour which started in Sabah on Sept 3 and ended in Sarawak on Sept 13 at Telok Melano. While in Sabah (Liwagu River) - the King found that there was a bridge broken in two since 2019 that has not been repaired until today. The king will ask the prime minister to solve the problem immediately. This is the good thing when a King who has the soul of the people can go down to the field and understand the people's problems. Therefore - according to Dennis Along, if only TYT Sarawak Taib Mahmud - could do the same thing. This will help solve people's problems. In Baram, the Sungai Tutoh bridge has been cut off due to flooding for the past 3 years. Causing problems for thousands of Baram residents. So far not fixed. Bad and dangerous road problems, no electricity and water supply. Still shackles the people of Sarawak. Is this what the people of Sarawak should be proud of after 60 years of independence, asked Dennis. Therefore, I suggest that the Governor of Sarawak should be appointed from among people who are outside the political radar - so that they can act using humanitarian values. The governor must also be healthy and if possible still young so that he can carry out his duties well. Therefore, I request that the current Governor Taib Mahmud resign due to his poor health. The Sarawak government should act wisely, for the sake of the progress and good of the people of Sarawak.
