Description

Janggu ak Unggat has been a staunch supporter of PRS president James Masing but he is now leading his flocks to campaign for a regime change. Take a listen to our exclusive interview with this headman from Baleh who is among four headmen that were sacked last month (which is of course illegal) for his change of heart. PKR Abun Sui, the candidate for the Hulu Rajang constituency where Janggu hails from will fight his case.

The voters of Petra Jaya are tired of BN’s recycled promises of solving their traffic woes. Leaving their house at 5am to clock in at 8am surely does not bode well for BN’s claims of good infrastructure and a caring government. PKR’s candidate in this largely civil servants constituency is confident of his fighting chance to win.

Gentleman Ali Biju, the PKR Sarawak vice chairman who is tip to win Saratok, is unfazed by the open support of John Antau for his opponent, SPDP President William Mawan. Antau, ironically is PKR Saratok division chief.

Another PKR’s candidate, Nicholas Bawin for Lubok Antu also called for gentlemanly campaign. Back from a 5-day campaign trip into the interior, an energised Bawin believes the Lubok Antu constituents are poised for change.

Similarly, Andy Wong for Julau, facing an uphill battle against the better oiled machineries of BN and SWP is upbeat after visiting several far flung villages that are sorely deprived of basic amenities.

Lastly, take a listen to a listener’s disgust with SWP whom he opines is out to influence the Dayaks with money and false hopes.
