In this episode of Radio Islam we had a great conversation with Calumet City,IL Clerk Nyota Figgs, who embodies Servant Leadership; she also serves as President of the Calumet Memorial Park District. Ms. Figgs is also the founder of the Figgs Foundation, a non-profit community service organization.
Ms. Figgs discussed her entrance into politics, the responsibilities of the office of clerk, her interactions with residents, and some of the initiatives she's undertaken since being in office.
