Description

Our guest is Na'ima B. Robert, the U.K. based author of multicultural literature and founding editor of the UK-based Muslim women's publication, SISTERS Magazine. We begin our conversation with Na'ima's latest book , Black Sheep; Na'ima shares interesting behind the scenes information about how the finished product differed greatly from what she originally conceived.

We learn about Na'ima's writing process, the value of research in telling authentic stories, and also hear about an upcoming project involving the little known East African Slave Trade.

We close out with info on the Muslima Writers Seminar. You can get more info on Na'ima's Twitter or IG @ NaimaBRobert.
