Tariq (@imamtariqelamin) talks with Jihad Turk. Jihad is the Founding President of Bayan Claremont, a Muslim Institution of Higher Education in the United States granting graduate degrees in Islamic Chaplaincy, and Islamic Studies. Jihad shares a bit about his upbringing, describing himself as a kid from Arizona who didn't grow up speaking Arabic. His thirst for knowledge about Islam would take him from being a college student on track for an engineering degree to the University of Madinah where a path of Islamic education would begin. Jihad talks with us about that experience and others as they ultimately led to the founding of Bayan. Jihad talks about the course offerings, and also shares an exciting new development and great resources for all students of knowledge.
