Kimberly Drew is an art curator and writer who champions the voices of black artists. She has been the social media manager for major museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Studio Museum in Harlem, but she is known for her use of the social media handle MuseumMammy and for her groundbreaking Tumblr Black Contemporary Art—and she uses these platforms to show the world the incredible works that black artists have contributed and continue to contribute every day. She just released her first book, This Is What I Know About Art in June of this year
