Hannah Leatherbury, E-Services Manager, SAF, talks with multi-media artist Sherri Lynn Wood (www.southernartistry.orgSherry_Lynn_Wood) about her most recent project The Mantra Trailer. This 1972 breadbox trailer has been converted into a recording studio and broadcast station, which, travels the country chronicling peoples mantras. Sherri is featured on the Southern Arts Federations adjudicated online artist registry, SouthernArtistry.org. This interview features Sherri talking about the original inspiration for the Mantra Trailer, her philosophy on how to select mantras based on the community her trailer visits, plus, some selected recordings of mantras.
