A lot of entrepreneurs have it backwards. They think that hustle is the goal, that hard work is something to brag about and even to strive for. The truth is that hustle and hard work constitute the input, while the goal of any business is to maximize output while simultaneously minimizing input.

This is the confusion that is so pervasive to the entrepreneurial community, and it is holding people back. The hardest working people in the world are, unfortunately, often also the poorest, so there is no correlation. While it is important during times and seasons to work very hard, this should never be the main goal.
