There's a crisis in the court. Nebuchadnezzar has a traumatic dream. God reveals the dream and interpretation to Daniel who tells the king, "Your kingdom will fall; others that follow will fail as well. At some future glorious time, the God of heaven will establish his final kingdom, which ultimately will destroy all other kingdoms. Though it starts small, it will grow to fill the earth and, unlike earthly kingdoms, it will last forever." This is the great hope for those who are in exile.
