Our next guest: Angel Luis Colón, a Derringer- and Anthony Award-shortlisted author. His published works include the upcoming novel "Pull & Pray," which is the sequel to 2016's "No Happy Endings," and a series of novellas starring the bitterly funny Blacky Jaguar. If that wasn't enough, he's also the author of the short story anthology "Meat City on Fire (and Other Assorted Debacles)" and next year's "Hell Chose Me."
Here's the description of "Pull & Pray," which releases July 30:
"An estranged family member! A score to end all scores! Continued gastrointestinal issues! Five years after surviving the most harrowing heist of her life, Fantine Park is lured back to the United States by her aunt. The bait: a lead on the identity of her mother’s killer and a score known as the ‘pension plan,’ a piece of software that can literally pay out in perpetuity if they can get their hands on it in time."
During this episode of 'Noir on the Radio,' we'll not only cover Fantine, but we'll plunge into heist stories, the best (and worst) techniques for planning a book, and a whole lot of digressions into horror literature and other fun stuff.
