Description

Romance is the number one genre on Amazon and the Romance Writers of America estimates that one in three books sold is a love story.

Eve Elliot is a published romance author, a prolific audio performer and was recently featured on Public Radio's "Endless Thread". She joins me to discuss the evolution of romance writing from "Pride and Prejudice" to today. She traces her own writer's journey from telling herself stories in the back yard, through non-fiction and up to today, where she is sharing her latest work, tentatively titled "Noah and Kate", chapter by chapter, on YouTube.

We talk about the components of an effective love scene, how the sights and sounds surrounding the participants can be more powerful than articulating the moves, and how men and women process love stories differently.

Eve is also the writer / producer / director of the radio drama, "The Death of Dr. Davidson," which features a plethora of noted audio performers. She is one of the best known audio performers working today with over 25 million downloads and tens of thousands of followers across virtually every social media platform.
