For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man's gospel. For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12 ESV)
When’s the last time you told someone your testimony or heard someone else's? As we tell our story, we get to hear the narrative of what God is doing in people’s lives. Often times, we can hear about how God was working even before someone came to faith, sometimes in ways we could never imagine.
In this upcoming section of Galatians, we get to hear some of Paul’s own testimony. How did a terrorist, a killer of Christians, become one of its greatest teachers? It’s a tale of God’s immense grace. And one that further highlights the point that the gospel has nothing to do with what we do and everything to do with what God does. I want to encourage you to take a look at Galatians 1-2 as we dive into this book further.
