1. You CAN’T get out of this alive
The best you can do is do the best you can do, operate with excellence and leave a strong legacy for your team and offspring to follow. No one is counting toys at the end to declare a winner.
2. You CAN’T do it alone
Too many people want “all the glory” for themselves or they want all the control. They never share the reigns or the responsibility for wins and fails.
3. You CAN’T blame anyone else for your moral failure
People who fail to take responsibility for their own moral failure will ultimately fail altogether and usually very publicly. Whatever an individual will not deal with on their own does not become a forgotten secret, it becomes a leading news story.
