We cant believe we've now made it to 70 in our mix series! And we have managed to get the very talented Christian Eede to produce something special for us too.
Christian has this to say about his curation:
"Since this mix is quite lengthy, it can be listened to in two chunks if you can’t quite manage it all in one sitting - the first part formed from the opening 90 minutes, and the second from the remaining 50 minutes. I decided I wanted to put together something covering more than just house, techno and electro that I’m into, and take in a wider tempo range, which is reflected between the two parts.
It’s mostly made up of new and old music that I’ve been enjoying lately (and in some cases have recently discovered), having initially put together a large pool of tracks I wanted to include before whittling that down into the mix’s final tracklist, connecting the dots with a focus on how best to pace and sequence it all. A lot of planning admittedly went into it, so it’s not a particularly spontaneous mix, but I’ve never thought studio or home-recorded mixes should have to be. Features a few records, but mostly made up of digital stuff."
