PEOPLE OF EDEN
"I initially titled this mix Roots ( I always name my mixes lol ). Then I changed it two more times before finally settling on People of Eden. It is purely inspired by African dance music. I wanted to tell a story with African inspired dance music, capturing various rhythms, languages & cultures across the black continent. Sounds from the West through to Southern Africa. The final title was inspired by the ancient name for Africa, Alkebulan. Which translates "mother of mankind" or "garden of Eden"."
