"Relationships are a huge part of making and sharing music for me, so any mix I make is going to be heavy on friends. The people in local underground scenes are a huge source of inspiration and support for what I do, and being a part of the ongoing dialogue of a musical community is basically my whole reason for making music and running a label these days. I recently returned from celebrating 10 Years of Oxtail Recordings with artists and friends in the US, UK, and EU and exploring those communities, so a lot of these selections highlight folks I connected with on that trip in one way or another.
