BOSS OF THE BRONX: Rosaly Ruiz, nominated by her bestie Mike DeLucia, for her work with The Bronx Blaqlist. The Bronx Blaqlist is a group of Bronxites bringing a new scene to our borough; she hosts an open mic in the south Bronx that highlights hip hop culture in order to combat the overwhelming "suburbanization" of the area. She uses art and music to promote activism as well as the individual artists. Her life's goal is built on creating exposure. Finally giving the Bronx it's voice.
