BOSS OF THE BRONX: The EdgeWater Park Social and Welfare Association, a group of women who volunteer their time in order to diminish hunger in their community. They host events throughout the year to raise funds in order to help families having difficulties maintaining food within their households due to hardships. This month they are hosting a bus stop raffle sales at the EdgeWater Park bus stop on August 7,10,13 ,19 and a pizza party on August 23rd at 730pm! Thanksgiving and Christmas they show gratitude towards our military by honoring them and their families with gift cards and thank you cards. (Nominated by Zayra P.)
