Content Warning: discussion of suicide rates and transphobia
UterX (pronounced you-ter-EX) is a collaboration about issues in inclusive gynecological healthcare for trans and gender nonconforming individuals. It was produced by In Sickness + In Health with Ask Me About My Uterus and MedX Student Advisor + ePatient Delegate, Charlie Blotner, for the 2016 Stanford Medicine X ePatient Storyteller Track.

2016 MedX Student Advisor, ePatient Delegate, and In Sickness + In Health Junior Uterus Correspondent, Charlie Blotner, joins Cara to discuss issues related to accessing gynecological healthcare for transmasculine individuals. They talk about coverage exclusions for transition-related care, gynecological cancer rates, and the exclusionary nature of the gendered language of reproductive health issues.

You can see Charlie's ePatient Ignite! talk, "On self-identity, gender, and their impact on whole-person health," from MedX2015, as well as additional resources and a glossary of terms for the project at:
