John 3:1-17

One night a man named Nicodemus came to Jesus. He was a Pharisee, a respected teacher and leader of the Jews. Though he was a top teacher, he was timid, too. He came at night because he was risking his reputation by having a close encounter with Christ. He told Jesus, “Rabbi, you must have come from God. No one can teach like you do without God’s help.”
