Everybody loves a love story! This Sunday’s tale is a tender love story involving two strong women. It is a story of famine and faith, of illness and immigration, of love and loss, of grief and gratitude, of seduction and suspense, of redemption and restoration. It is a short story in which we see ourselves in the trials and tribulations of these two women – a mother-in-law named Naomi, and her daughter-in-law whose name is Ruth.
