In 1977, Punk was dead in the water, but the people who had witnessed punk first hand certainly weren't. It saw The Residents' Fingerprince release, Devo receive recognition outside of their small Ohio fanbase, the release of David Bowie's synth-pop masterpiece, Low, as well as David Byrne/Talking Head's 'Talking Heads '77'.
