It's hard to face suffering. And sometimes it's even harder to have to watch others go through hard times. Our human nature wants to step in to help with an "I can fix this for you" mentality. But as we'll explore in this episode, people don't want to be "fixed", they want to be loved. Our missionaries face this reality over and over again as they approach the homeless on the streets. We are equipped with knowledge of the local resources, understanding where we can point someone to get a meal, a place to stay, etc. But the truth is, there's a lot of hurt in the world that can't be fixed by a resource. So what can you do? For the answer, we look to Mary and John at the foot of the cross.
