Mackenzie Roark (https://mackenzieroark.com/) is an alt-country songstress inspired by classic country, 70’s folk, and good ol’ fashioned rock and roll. This Richmond-based singer/songwriter crafts poignantly introspective and authentic songs that highlight a deep fluency in the reflection on everyday life. Her lyrically-rich storytelling is heavily inspired by the likes of Townes and Loretta, but is coupled with a punch-in-the-gut girl power, drawn from artists like Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow. Her band consists of Billy Bacci on Lead electric guitar & keys, Matt Moran on Bass, John Bradberry on lap-steel, and Drew Barnocky on Drums.
