Tara grew up on a farm in Wisconsin and joined the Army after 9/11 with a strong, curious desire to discover more of the world while making a difference. After serving overseas as an intelligence analyst in Iraq and Germany, and training as a psychological operations specialist, Tara left active duty after 9 years to further her education, forge new career paths, and grow her family.
