Description

This is crucial that you work on your mental strength if you want to become the athlete you want to become.

If you are not mentally strong;

But you know it doesn't have to be this way.

What you are doing as an athlete is hard work and it is tough, really tough.

Those athletes who make you know the ones who are in the top 1%, why are they there?

Because the believe they deserve to be there, they believe 100% in themselves, they don't question it. They keep working on getting better.

But in order for you to get to the top, we have to build your mental strength.

How do we do that?

We begin with this 2 Step Process in Becoming Mentally Stronger.

Step 1:

Make a list of all the negative words and phrases that you use.

e.g. I am not quick enough, I am slow, Why are you even trying.

Step 2:

New Belief Language

Next to each negative phrase re-write your new belief language.

For example;

Negative phrase - "I am not fast enough"

New Belief Language - "I work on getting faster everyday"

This is just the beginning but understand that this is a process you must go through. In order for you to become mentally stronger we have to identify the negative words and phrases that you are using. We then have to re-wire your thinking with "New Belief Language".

This is all explained in detail in this episode so make sure you listen and get your note book out. You have some work to do.
