Deepika Chowdhury is India's first female athlete awarded with professional status by the International Federation of Bodybuilding in figure category after winning 5 consecutive competitions in the USA. She is India's first female athlete to receive an invitation from the prestigious bodybuilding show The Arnold Classic. She is a fitness model, blogger and a certified for personal training and sports nutrition.
Deepika Chowdhury is also a Molecular Biologist at National Institute of Virology (Indian Medical Research Centre)
