Palak Mehta is the founder of Vegan First, India’s first digital and print platform dedicated to veganism. Since launching in 2016, she has built a thriving community of over 100,000 members and hosts the Vegan India Conference, which brings together plant-based entrepreneurs and changemakers from 30+ countries.
A member of FSSAI’s task force on vegan standards and Vice-Chair of the World Vegan Organization (India), Palak works actively to shape plant-based policies and awareness in India. Inspired by her spiritual mentor Sri Mohanji and the principle of ahimsa, she transitioned to veganism and built her career around conscious living.
With a background in fine arts, business, and permaculture, Palak continues to advocate for animal rights and sustainability across platforms and global forums.
