Don't let the trolls win.
Trolls will always be there. They intentionally try to break the game. Don't let them dissuade you from doing the stuff they're afraid of putting effort towards.
But you know what? That doesn't mean we should let them win. It doesn't mean we should sit back and let them distract us from the things we want to do and the goals we want to achieve.
But don't let that stop you from being you and doing what you love. The people who are afraid of putting in the effort to achieve their dreams will always try to break other people for doing it better than they can. Don't let that discourage you from playing to win—whether in the game or IRL -because no matter what happens, positive intention backed with focus will lead to improvement.
I know how hard it can be when you're doing something new and you're afraid of judgment--when someone makes fun of what you're doing, it stops you in your tracks, right? I mean, who's going to want to do something if they think they'll be judged?
But if you let that fear stop you from doing what you love, the trolls win.
You gotta learn how to see trolls for what they really are: small people with small minds who are terrified about the idea that other people are learning new things, gaining confidence, and becoming more capable and independent.
And we all deserve better than that kind of negativity in our lives.
You deserve better than letting someone else define who you should be and what you can achieve.
