TVtropes.org has a great source of \"RPG elements\" that I decided to convert into a way to gamify self development - personal development for gamers ;). This one is called \"All Swords Are the Same\" and the actual trope is about how your character picks up a weapon that should look different or require different behaviors, but when equipped, appears to be the same as the last one with no unique features. Life can be like this in some ways because of how your mind chunks experiences.
