+ÓN returns to the decks with the OOPART Volume 002. OOPArt is the term "out of place artifact". This word is referred to an object of historical, archaeological or paleontological interest found in a very unusual or seemingly impossible context that could challenge the conventional chronology of history.
In this special series, +Ón makes the translation and adapts the term from a musical perspective, but with the same conception of the original definition. Thus, in this second volume, we move on to Ambient layers and pads without departing from the rhythmic pattern of breaks. A tribute to a golden age where complex structures are mixed with rhythms and traditional instruments, drawing dreamy landscapes such as the mystic sounds of Israel or India, Letfield, Downtempo, Trance, Jungle or Dub.
The experienced artist gives us this sonic journey with a careful musical selection and mixing. Everything perfectly detailed making the assimilation quite easier.
In his own words: "In this second volume all music is quite related. Making this type of tribute is the sustainability of these styles, because of the strong depth that ambient and trance have had in the history of dance music and electronic in general, and the music we hear today. In addition, I find funny to mix patterns that get out of the dance floor and paste layers and layers of tracks which have completely different tempos, you rule the best to create the message and its sense. Without any rhythmic pattern and maintaining the original bmp of the track and meanwhile suffering that risk."
+Ón is the first artist who will create a series of podcast without being a Secuencia X Friends, but what can we say about Juanmi (+Ón): It was love at first sight. Jealous of his own work, it is not so common to find media collaborations, as he says: "I am not friend of the press or posters, even the nowadays marketing. I mix for the world that surrounds me, but sometimes I travel to some clubs. When it happens I do it occasionally, I can create podcasts when the agreement comes and the mood flows, as it was in this case. "
